is expected to continue to grow and challenge such nations as India in
the outsourcing software development market.

Chamber of Commerce in Russia:
"Offshore software development activity in Russia
has recently enjoyed a surge in interest and activity. It is estimated
that there are 5,000 to 8,000 professional programmers in the industry
in Russia, and annual revenue is between $60 million and $100 million
per year, growing at 40% to 60% annually.
Many well known multinational technology companies have been vigorously
pursuing R&D and software development activities in Russia, including
Motorola, Intel, Sun Microsystems, Boeing,and Northern Telecom."

expected to follow those of culturally similar Russia.

Canada :
"The Canadian information systems outsourcing
services market will experience more than 7 per cent growth from 2002
to 2006, amounting to C$1.3 billion in net new contract spending. Persistent
labour supply shortages and growing acceptance of outsourcing as good
business practice, in addition to industry deregulation and slow economic
growth in 2001 and 2002, will fuel growth."
